Hawaiʻi Museums Association (HMA) invites you to join us for our next conference on Maui and Molokai, October 19-20, 2024. The theme for this conference is From Moment to Movement. Over both days we will connect with cultural workers and community leaders as they share about the diversity, connectivity, and resiliency of Maui Nui.

October 19, 9 am - 6 pm: Sessions, dialogue, and networking at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. Coffee, lunch, and reception included. Session topics will include Lahaina fire recovery; fundraising; historic homes; and the islands of Maui Nui. Session and schedule detail will be added here. Off-island visitors: Maui Seaside Hotel is offering a discount rate of $219/night (plus tax, amenity fee waived) - contact eric@hawaiimuseums.org for more details. Can't attend in person? Please join us online via Zoom.

October 20, 10 am - 3 pm: Huaka'i to various sites on Molokai, including the Maunaloa Museum, Molokai History Project (Molokai Museum), Ka Ipu Makani Cultural Heritage Center, and Pālā'au State Park. Lunch and ground transportation included. Due to limited flight availability, please research flights prior to signing up; best to arrive at MKK airport by 9 am.
